Timber Californian Bungalow

Location: Surrey Hills

This timber Californian Bungalow was literally the worst house in a great street. The home had not been touched since being built in 1920. The facade was protected under a heritage overlay so had to be kept. There were regulations as to height and visibility of the second storey. Technique Construction Group worked with the local council to ensure the design was sympathetic to the original home, whilst adding the space and requirements that the growing family required. Technique Construction Group has a wealth of experience in liaising with councils to assist in the design of your home. The renovated home is light filled, with a practical use of space and design. The small courtyard at the rear has blended into a great space with swimming pool and appropriate landscape design, all designed by Technique Construction group.
